The weather has been awful here! It looks like Autumn, rain, rain, wind, more rain, yikes! Still a good thing for all the students who are in their exams right now..nice weather to study!
Still I rather see the sun!!

We have a great challenge at Cuttlebug Mania! School is nearly out so that means "Thank You Teachter" gifts or "Graduation" once!!

I chose for the last one because I have a good excuse to use my favorite again...an Owl!!!

I chose the Graduation owl from my sponsor Digiscrapkits and I love it!!! What I did, because it is a digiprint, I erased the diploma and made a 3D one myself!!! Which is kind a cool I think!

I made a pillowbox with my Cuttlebug (love the pillowboxes) they are so easy to make and you can put money in there, a giftcard or even a little present! I used brown CS and used my favorite folder "Swirls" to make it pretty. I love it, it doesn't take long, easy to mass produce, LOVE IT!!!
And you can use any color you like so it fitts your school!

We hebben deze week een leuke challenge bij Cuttlebug Mania! De school is bijna afgelopen, nog een paar weekjes, dus tijd om iets te maken voor alle gewéldige leraren of leraressen om ze te bedanken voor een fantastisch jaar! Of om iemand te feliciteren met het behalen van zijn/haar diploma! Ik heb voor het laatste gekozen! Heb een pillowbox gemaakt, door de Cuttlebug gehaald met de "Swirls" folder en het gewéldige uiltje is van mijn sponsor Digiscrapkits!!

It's Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday/Dinsdag

Hi everyone, welcome to our favorite day of the week! Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday!

We have a purrrrfect challenge this week, a make something with a Kitty cat challenge!

We all made different projects and this is what I came up with!

 

I mirrored the cat so that there were two and I then printed them on some white CS. I then printed them on DSP and cut them out (really tiny pieces!! hihi) and glued them on the image.

I then cuttlebugged the grass they are sitting in and put flowers on it to make it look very outdoorie!

I punched the top and bottom part.

Then I made a chocolate box out of DSP and made it as wide as the image! It is very easy

 

The base is a piece of 10 x 20 cm DSP and you score at 5-6-14-15 cm

You then cut 2 pieces  at 2 by 4,5 cm and then score at 1 and 2 cm

Fold the scorelines and the two strips and put some stickystrip on the small strips to hold the sides and you have a box.

Deze week hebben we weer een leuke challenge! Van de sponsor van deze week hebben de teamleden een digi gekregen om te gebruiken en dat was dit lieve poesje! Deze heb ik gespiegeld zodat er 2 waren en vervolgens uitgeprint op wit papier. Toen heb ik van DSP de poesjes weer geprint en uitgeknipt (kleine stukjes) en vervolgens heb ik gras gemaakt met de Cuttlebug en bloemetjes hierop geplakt om het een echt buitengevoel te laten geven! Vervolgens heb ik een chocoladedoosje gemaakt, die kun je zo groot en klein maken als je zelf wilt.

Ik heb he tdoosje aangepast aan het plaatje met poesjes.

Het originele doosje is 10*20 cm en rillen op 5-6-14-15 cm.

Vervolgens 2 stripjes snijden van 2*4,5 cm en deze rillen op 1-2 cm

Deze plak je om zijkanten te maken en deze maat is perfect voor Merci chocola of in mijn geval eigen merk van AH!

Made some easy cards/Makkelijke kaarten

Hi there, it's an extra day off today in The Netherlands and it was lovely, the sun came out and I had breakfast outside! I even had time to make some easy cards for the event my BFF and I are having this Saturday at her house. It is a day before Mothersday so we are selling our selfmade Jewelry and little gifts and cards!

So I deceided to make cards which I sell for 1 euro, perhaps I will sell lots and lots than. Not every one can afford or appreciates a selfmade card and that is ok, so I deceided to go this way.

A.s. zaterdag, de dag voor Moederdag, hebben mijn vriendin en ik een leuke verkoop van onze zelfgemaakte sieraden, kleine cadeautjes en kaarten. Ik heb deze keer gekozen om kaarten te maken voor een euro, niet iedereen kan of wil een duurdere betalen, dus ik ga eens kijken hoe dit loopt.
Het is in ieder geval wel erg leuk om te maken, met de printer naast me is elke tekst mogelijk!

It's Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday/Dinsdag

Hi everyone, welcome to our favorite day of the week! Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday!

We have a fun challenge this week, a birthday Tic-Tac-Toe challenge, choose a row and create!

I chose the middle horizontal row: Ribbon-Embossing-(Cup)Cake and created these cuties!!!

The cupcakes are made with a die from My Creative Time and the embossing folder is Brandless and is Dutch and says "Congratulations, Hooray etc etc" It is a very long card, 21 cm so I had to be creative with the folder, but where the tekst met again is covered by the middle cupcake!

And a little ribbon on top of them instead of a cherry!

I even used some Studio G Glitter Glue to make it sparkle!

Deze week hebben we een soort van bingo kaart waarmee je een keuze kunt maken om je kaart/project te gaan maken, je kunt horizontaal,verticaal of diagonaal! Ik heb de middelste horizontale rij genomen en heb deze lieve cupcakes gemaakt! Ze zijn altijd zó feestelijk! En met de strikjes worden ze helemaal schattig, om het nog feestelijker te maken heb ik glitterlijm gebuikt voor de accentjes. Ik vind hem weer zo poepig geworden.

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday/Dinsdag

It's a very special day in The Netherlands today! It's our last Queenday because our Queen Beatrix will retire and her eldest son Willem-Alexander will be our New King today!
Next year we will be celebrating Kingday on April 27th (it's a National Day off)

Our Queen Beatrix is on the left and our new King in the middle!

So in honor of our Queen, mother of 3, I made a birthdaycard in that style!

This week we have "One for Mom'' at Cuttlebug Mania, which could mean either a card for Mothers Day ór a birthdaycard. I combined...Our Queen is a Mom of three sons and we celebrate her last birthday/Queensday tomorrow (her actual birthday is on Jan 31st but she deceided to celebrate it on April 30th in honor of her Mom, former Queen Juliana)

I have used red CS as a base and run it through the Cuttlebug with the Cuttlebug Folder "Scroll Work" I then made a dress out of a doily and I used a mannequin for the body, I made this out of a piece of wallpaper, which I got at a DIY store for free! (samples)
I then put some ribbon around the waste, with the Dutch flag and some Orange ribbon under it.
The sentiment I printed on the computer and cut out with an Oval Nestabilitie.
To make it chique I put some shiny stones on the card as well!

Vandaag is natuurlijk een héle speciale dag! We nemen afscheid van Beatrix en groeten dan onze nieuwe Koning. Deze week hebben we als challenge "Voor Moederdag/Verjaardagskaart"
Ik heb hem gecombineerd voor haar, een kaart met een Koninklijke Uitstraling.
Ik heb een rode kaart gebruikt met de Cuttlebug Folder "Scroll Work" om mijn mooie jurkje in te lijsten, die ik gemaakt heb van een taartrondje, daarachter een mannequin gemaakt van behang (lang leve de Gamma/Karwei/Praxis). Vervolgens heb ik rood-wit-blauw lint én Oranje lint om de middel gedaan en de tekst heb ik uitgeprint op de computer. Deze heb ik met een Oval Nestabilitie uitgesneden in de Cuttlebug. En om het nog even chique te maken...strasssteentjes en een mooie strik!

Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday/Dinsdag

Hi everyone,

It is Cuttlebug Tuesday again and this time it is a special one, because we have a guestdesigner!!

Our sweet Jennifer is hosting this weeks Color Challenge!! It's a Purple & Green one!

This is what I made! I had this awesome DSP and was inspired instantely! It already had the colors I want!

I cut out 3 aliens and made a basecard out of green CS and put Purple CS on top, I then cut 3 circles out of the green DSP with dies from My Creative Time and I put my aliens in the circles and stiched around them with a white gelpen. I then punched out another punch to go around the aliens to make them stand out more. I put googly eyes on them to really make them aliens! I so love them! And then I googled for an cool sentiment and found "You are out of this world" which I thought was perfect for this card! I adjusted it with "Sweet girlfriend, you are out of this world" and printed it with my computer. I then used another die from My Creative Time for the banner and also "WORLD" is made with a die from My Creative Time! The flowers are a gift from my BFF in the USA which matched perfectly as well!

 

Deze week hebben we een hele speciale Cuttlebug Mania dinsdag, want we hebben een gast! Ze heet Jennifer en we hebben in hetzelfde DT gezeten van Cuttlebug Spot. Ze geeft daarom extra kleur aan onze kleurchallenge! Deze keer met paars & groen! Ik had nog geweldig papier liggen met kleine monstertjes in de juiste kleur, dus die moest ik wel gebruiken. Het ontstond bijna vanzelf! Groene kaart, met paars erop, toen weer groen DSP waar ik cirkels uit heb geCuttlebugged! Toen heb ik de monstertjes er met 3D foam ingeplakt en met witte gelpen omcirkeld. Toen heb ik nog een ponsje gemaakt en die weer om de cirkels geplakt. Vervolgens heb ik een leuke tekst gegoogled en vond deze "You're out of this World". De bloemetjes had ik van mijn vriendin in Amerika gekregen en die passen er pérfect bij! De wiebeloogjes maken het gewoon af! Ik ben er weer zo blij mee!

Hi everyone, we are getting Sentimentel at Cuttlebug Mania, we have a great challenge this week!

Just a Sentiment and NO image!

I have a few birthdays coming up and one of them is from a teen, we have known him since birth and soon he will be celebrating his 14th birthday, so I deceided to make him a masculine card and have found some beautiful DSP of K&Company called "Sweet Nectar"

I have used the dies from My Creative Time to make the banner and the letters "Hoera" which spell "Hooray" and to make it more interesting I used beads! They spell "Hip Hip"I love it!!

Deze week hebben we een leuke challenge, we mogen alleen tekst gebruiken en geen plaatjes, je mag wel wat gebruiken als de focus maar ligt op de tekst!

Ik heb hele mooie papiertjes bijelkaar gezocht en heb het papier het werk laten doen.

Aangezien deze verjaardagskaart voor een jongen is, die bijna 14 wordt heb ik hem vrij mannelijk gehouden en ja die houden niet van tierlantijntjes!

Het enige speelse zijn de kraaltjes die het woordje "Hieperdepiep"spellen! Ik vind het goed gelukt!!
